1991
Humble Beginnings
Born April 28, 1971, in Guinea-Bissau, Alexandrina immigrated to Lisbon in 1991 seeking new opportunities. Her first chapter in Portugal involved construction site cleaning — humbling work that never dimmed her ambition.
1992
Building a Foundation
She began a four-year period with the Europa supermarket chain, building discipline and hard work into her foundation. In 1997, with characteristic courage, she moved to London.
2001
Pursuing the Dream
In London her passion for cuisine was reignited. After a year in a hotel, she balanced culinary college with employment for four intense years — emerging not just with a qualification, but with mastery.
2022
Royal Recognition
Alexandrina secured a role with a catering company serving the British royal family. She prepared canapés for the Platinum Jubilee, the Queen's funeral, and the Coronation of King Charles III.
Through perseverance, passion, and immense strength, Alexandrina Rocha truly embodies the title she holds in her heart: Empress.
